Also, unless you've already heard of it, Vanillaware (Odin Sphere) is also the proud owner of Muramasa: The Demon Blade, unfortunately on the Wii, but there might be a port. Much more recent game than Ol' Odin an still sports their badass hand-cell 2d-ness. Check it out.

yeah i know. im pissed, atlus is still bringing shit to ps2, but the one game i want they leave on the wii. ive been watching it. and its about a samurai and ninja. sadface. oh well, might be the reason i eventually get a wii. well that and nintendo music. wait no...
